Whole marjoram

In addition to culinary uses where it is used to flavor soups, sauces, meats and fish, marjoram applied in natural medicine as tonic, carminative, antispasmodic and amenagogo. A small dose is used as a sedative. The flowers of the sweet marjoram are used to create areas of dense color in any type of flower arrangements, either fresh or dried material. Add fresh leaves to stews when serving to retain the flavor.
