Sesame (sesame) seeds small, oval and rich in oil. They have many different colors, depending on the variety may be yellow, black or red. Sesame is an oilseed plant from Africa and India who came to America when African slaves took with them. Its cultivation spread to tropical America, Mexico, adopted as a native plant and has been rooted in Mexican cuisine. Ground can be used in sauces or sprinkled on salads, breads and pastries.

Very popular in Oriental cuisine and Japanese for its pleasant taste for food in the kitchen daily. The whole seed is used in the preparation of bakery and confectionery sweets.
